Courage - A life long challenge.
I asked you to meet strangers and walk next to unknown dogs every weekend. Your courage to give kisses to humans without peeing yourself made me so proud. Watching you walk shoulder to shoulder with dogs you didn’t know or trust showed everyone the power of just walking. You became the poster child for how and why pack walks work.
I brought home over 40 foster dogs into your comfy home, it was so difficult but you were able to muster up the courage to accept most of them. You were so brave.
You went to the places that scared you and came out stronger. Thank you for the lesson in facing fears.
Thank you for humoring me by modeling all of my rescue projects from bow ties to tutus.
Thank you for teaching me how to be a better teacher.
Thank you for helping a young boy feel safe and secure.
Thank you for your unlimited love and adoration.
